“If Citadel Mall goes away (story on this phenomena here), where will seniors walk, get blood pressure checked, have coffee, etc on hot and cold days–with a security guard and a restroom nearby?”

What kinds of opportunities does this offer or does it merely underscore a deficiency that exists in communities that are not pedestrian-friendly.
