If You Were Mayor is an internet-based community collaboration platform that allows stakeholders to submit, share and take action on ideas to improve the livability of their community. The website is location specific, tailored for individual cities and towns, with the primary user groups of individuals, civic-minded organizations, businesses and local governments. Charleston, South Carolina, represents the initial beta test site for the project to establish the model, its content potential and the nature of its users.

As of 2014, the parent company of IfYouWereMayor, Edwink, LLC, is a qualified business under the South Carolina High Growth Small Business Job Creation Act of 2013 and may receive qualified investments from angel investors. Certified investors may receive up to a 35% income tax credit in South Carolina. Consult your tax professional for details.
